Principle:
The thermal mass flowmeter operates based on the thermal diffusion principle, where the heat loss of a heated object when gas flows over it is proportional to the flow rate. The instrument uses two RTD sensors (resistance temperature detectors)-one acts as a heat source, while the other measures the temperature of the flowing gas. The temperature difference between these sensors correlates with the flow rate, allowing the flowmeter to produce a linear output signal for accurate flow measurement.
