The Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is an advanced measurement solution that utilizes the propagation characteristics of high-frequency microwave pulses along a detection component (such as a steel cable or rod probe). This innovative technology enables precise and contactless level measurement in various challenging applications. When the microwave pulses encounter the measured medium, the resulting change in dielectric constant causes reflection, allowing accurate measurement of the distance to the material's surface. The time-of-flight principle is used to convert this distance into a level signal, ensuring high measurement accuracy and reliability.
Coaxial guided wave radar transmits electromagnetic waves through coaxial cables, which propagate between the inner conductor and outer shield of the coaxial cable. When electromagnetic waves encounter the interface of liquid/object, some of the electromagnetic waves will be reflected back, and the liquid level or material level will be calculated based on the time delay of the reflected waves.
