OVERVIEW

The Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is an advanced measurement solution that utilizes the propagation characteristics of high-frequency microwave pulses along a detection component (such as a steel cable or rod probe). This innovative technology enables precise and contactless level measurement in various challenging applications. When the microwave pulses encounter the measured medium, the resulting change in dielectric constant causes reflection, allowing accurate measurement of the distance to the material's surface. The time-of-flight principle is used to convert this distance into a level signal, ensuring high measurement accuracy and reliability.

Cable type guided wave radar uses bare or shielded cables as the guiding medium, and electromagnetic waves propagate along the surface or core of the cable. When electromagnetic waves encounter changes in liquid level or material level, the signal will be reflected, and the radar determines the change in liquid level by analyzing the time delay of the reflected wave.
